Release Radar: Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Dragon”

Celebrating the 2024 Chinese New Year, Jordan has released pictures of the new Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Dragon.” The upcoming release will be a follow up from this year’s celebratory pair, “Year of the Rabbit.” The new design’s prominent feature is scaly green overlays which nod to the Chinese Zodiac animal for next year. The design also features muted golds and reds, perhaps hinting at the dragon’s fire or simply incorporating Chinese colors of prosperity. The emblematic swoosh, for example, in constructed in a shiny red. The release will include red laces, tying together the moody and understated color scheme. The inner construction of the shoe also features a soft silver satin, referenced in the shoe’s gray sole.
