Favorite Yeezy Slide Colorways

This year was a big one for Yeezy drops. With adidas releasing stock new and old, we’ve had opportunity after opportunity to grab a fresh pair of Yeezy slides. That said, here are my top 5 Yeezy slides of the past two years.

5. Bone (May 2022)

Creamy and understated, for those who gravitate towards a white or off-white shoe, this May 2022 release is a strong contender. The shoe was first seen in 2019 and has been a favorite for streetwear enthusiasts ever since. The slide also featured a more bumpy texture, a departure from similar Yeezy releases.

4. Azure (May 2023)

Though neutral Yeezys are typically the star of the show, the May “Azure” drop is a bright and bold take on the Yeezy slide. In my opinion, this is the clear winner for statement slides this year. A great compliment to Hellstar or Essentials hoodies, this colorway is a bold new take on the silhouette.

3. Onyx (March 2022)

If you’re looking to create a clean contrast or moody midnight aesthetic, the “Onyx” yeezy slides might be a strong choice. When it comes to Yeezys “Onyx” is the blackest of blacks, a perfect offset to a highlighter bright set or the right shoe to complete your all-black everyday look.

2. Flax (August 2022)

I’m partial to brown colorways and the August 2022 release “Flax” is high on my list for those who are willing to stray from Yeezy’s typical greyscale. The rich, dark beige colorway brings depth to the silhouette.

1. Ochre (December 2021)

Reaching way back, my favorite Yeezy slide colorway of all time is still “Ochre”. This colorway is a warm brown, ideal for fall colors and wardrobe and to match almost any outfit you could construct. If you can get your hands on a pair, they’re an essential addition to your collection.
