The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Voodoo Alternate” represents a bold take on the classic AJ1 silhouette, developed in collaboration with Zion Williamson and deeply inspired by his New Orleans roots and the mystique of voodoo culture. With a rich palette of regency purple, vapor green, black and dark raisin tones, the upper blends plush suede and burlap-like textiles and features raw-cut edges, exposed decorative stitching and contrasting textures for a hand-crafted, artisan feel. Unique details such as a mini, inverted Swoosh at the forefoot, an upside-down Wings logo on the heel tab, braided rope laces and a small embroidered voodoo-doll graphic at the heel underscore the subversive, ritualistic aesthetic. Underneath the stylized surface lies the familiar low-top AJ1 structure with visible Air cushioning, allowing this piece to function both as performance footwear and collector statement. Released in October 2025, the Voodoo Alternate stands out in the joint realms of design, pop heritage and street-wear culture.
