What is Nike X Off-White?
“The Ten” is an iconic collaboration between Nike and Off-White in which the brand deconstructed ten of Nike’s iconic shoe silhouettes to be rebuilt with creative elements. Off-White creator Virgil Abloh produced new takes on each design, released in 2017. Half of the sneakers were released in the “Ghosting” pack, while the other half were released in the “Revealing” pack. Some celebrities received personalized versions of the shoes from this collection. The collection is widely regarded as the streetwear collaboration of the decade.
What do the Nike x Off-White sneakers look like?
The major changes in design focused on the tongue and stitching of each shoe. New fabric has been added and some existing parts of the shoes have been moved to other parts of the design. Prints also are a main feature of the internal shoes. Each shoe sports the iconic Off-White zip tie and the word “SHOELACE” at the end of every shoelace. Many shoes in the collection dropped in multiple colorways with multiple versions available. Museums and celebrities collaborated with Nike and Off-White for several editions.
