Después de trabajar durante más de una década como uno de los autores intelectuales de la exitosa marca de estilo de vida Moncler, de la que aún es director artístico, el diseñador y fotógrafo Francesco Ragazzi centra ahora su atención en su marca inspirada en el skate, Palm Angels, que fundó en 2015. Si bien Palm Angels tiene su sede en Milán, la etiqueta de streetwear está muy lejos de ser una marca típica milanesa. Ragazzi, que vive entre Los Ángeles y Milán, concibió Palm Angels después de publicar un libro de fotografías del mismo título en 2014. El libro fue una celebración de los jóvenes skaters de Los Ángeles, reinterpretado a través de la propia visión de Ragazzi, al “tomar una cultura que era percibido como bastante básico y elevándolo”.
