Air Jordan 12 Retro 'A Ma Maniere Black": The Air Jordan 12 released in late 1996 for $135. This shoe was yet another classic Air Jordan model designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 12 was inspired by the Japanese “Rising Sun” flag emblem. The 12 was the first Air Jordan model to utilize Zoom Air, with a full-length unit from heel to toe encased in a Phylon midsole. This was also the first Jordan to be officially released under Jordan Brand (Instead of Nike). The Jordan 12 did not have any Nike signs whatsoever on the shoe, and was the last Jordan Shoe to have a Nike sign on the box.
