Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "Lot 38": Virgil Abloh released 50 pairs of the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low in the Summer of 2021. Dubbed the "Dear Summer" collection by the Illinois-native, the upcoming collaboration serves as Abloh's most expansive project with NIKE, Inc. since 2017's "The Ten," which reimagined ten silhouettes from under the North American conglomerate's umbrella. Off-White's latest endeavor focuses on one low-top Nike Dunk style and animates it with 48 varying over lace, tongue, sock-liner, zip tie, lot number, and lateral swoosh underlay colors. Additionally, shoes numbered "01/50" and "50/50" forgo the white and light grey that takes over much of the "Dear Summer" collection in favor of respective, relatively tonal white and black outfits. Profile swooshes also indulge in a shimmering metallic silver that delivers a louder statement than the accompanying lots.
